I have bet on countless of hands of blackjack. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of bankroll at 21. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get loaded with this method or beat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a number of weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the runs you notice wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first $10 bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of $20
Wager $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40
Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first $40 wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $80 bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
