I have wagered on millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of cash at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or beat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can relinquish a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.

Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of $10
Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager
Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
