I have bet on millions of hands of 21. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have enjoyed online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of cash at blackjack. The casinos have made it basically impossible to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that 21 seems to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very fun sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a few years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this tactic! And a number of days ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see wagering this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Bet $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial five dollar bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original $10 bet
Wager $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar wager
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
